Mr. Bannen represents builders, developers, and owners in residential and commercial development and construction. Among other things, he assists in drafting and reviewing purchase agreements and financing transactions, title review, and leasing. He also assists with entity formation and governance, including investor agreements and property owners’ association formation.

Mr. Bannen also represents developers, builders, and owners in litigation, appeals, arbitration, and mediation. He represents the same parties in construction defect matters, collection matters, business and commercial disputes, and landlord and tenant disputes. Mr. Bannen also represents creditors in bankruptcies and foreclosures and debtors in workout negotiations.

Mr. Bannen’s practice has been devoted primarily to real estate and construction law in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Mr. Bannen was a law clerk for Honorable Judge Eldon Mahon of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Bannen is a member of the Real Estate and Bankruptcy Sections of the State Bar of Texas and the Real Estate and Construction Sections of the Tarrant County Bar Association.
