Biography

Ms. Uribe practices in the areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and construction law. Before joining Canterbury, PC, she served as General Counsel for Bright Industries, a family-owned company. Bright Industries’ services encompass real estate development, home-building operations, golf operations, financial services, and corporate hospitality. Ms. Uribe’s education and career history have shaped her multifaceted approach to law. She earned her initial law degree and a specialization in business law in Colombia, South America. She later completed a Master of Business Administration with a focus on finance from Dallas Baptist University, followed by a Master of Laws from Texas A&M School of Law. The MBA honed her strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling her to provide comprehensive and innovative solutions to her clients.

As a licensed attorney in both Texas and Colombia, South America, she seamlessly navigates the complexities of diverse legal systems, including both Civil and Common Law. She has a passion for corporate matters, real estate, and construction law.

Ms. Uribe is committed to mentoring foreign lawyers at Texas A&M School of Law, preparing them for the Bar exam. In her leisure time, she enjoys training for and competing in marathons and triathlons.
