DaNae joined the firm as a senior associate in April 2022, was promoted to director in February 2023 and became an equity shareholder effective October 1, 2023. 

DaNae specializes in complex civil and commercial litigation, construction and real estate litigation, business torts, and employment litigation. She has successfully represented clients in numerous jury and bench trials, and argued a wide array of motions at hearings in court.

In January, Mr. Joe Canterbury joined a panel discussion as part of the TexasBarCLE Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution course. He brought extensive expertise within construction mediation to the session on Multi-Party Litigation: Construction and Commercial.

The women of Canterbury, PC have attended “Law in The City” for several years and Canterbury, PC shareholders, Tonya Johannsen and Patty Stein have been ASC members since its inception. Canterbury’s other female attorneys have also joined ASC and participate in the biannual Law in the City Event.
